February 16th 2007, I bought my current house for me and my daughter to live in. And for my son while he worked to earn money to get into his own place. (Well, he has since moved on.) After my now husband moved in about 8 months later, it was evident that a little bit more room was desireable. Now with my grandson living with us, it is more than desireable. Pretty much a neccesity! Our house as been on the market since November but no offers. Dang it. We did find a house that we want and put an offer on it. They accepted! Now we just have to sell our house. Or maybe we will just rent it out. Things to ponder.
The fun part will be shopping for new furniture since the house will be bigger, we don't have enough furniture to fill it up! Oh bummer. :) New leather living room set, new round table (with leaves, of course), futon for the guest room, new computer desk (sorry honey, I don't like the one we have), and probably more things that I can't think of right now. I like it. The brown works as a nice neutral too, so even as seasons change it can be cozied up or lightened up easily! :)
